D-Day

Could you jump off a boat or from a plane into heavy enemy gunfire? Could you volunteer for that? Could you handle the emotions rushing through you as you get nearer and nearer to the battle — knowing that you could die any second?

Remember the men that gave their lives so that we could be free. Remember the men who saw and experienced things that no human should have to experience. Remember D-Day today.

  1. It amazes me, and humbles me that these men were asked to do these things-and did them, and all without wanting any glory or credit-and all without feeling that what they did was extraordinary.

They and countless others like them saved mankind-they sure deserve our thanks don't they!

  2. Very important questions...and I'd have to say that I don't think I'd have the courage to do it. Thank goodness those men could. They leave me in awe.
